"We are constantly evolving to provide a better experience for our fans and are improving our support model," EA vice president of customer experience Joel Knutson wrote in an email to employees, "in order to reduce complexity and improve our efficiency, flexibility and scalability .”
Some Austin jobs will be eliminated, the executive said. He would also propose that a similar position would be eliminated from EA's Galway, Ireland studio, which is currently responsible for customer service support for European players.
